| PC-BSD 1.4, an easy-to-use desktop operating system based on FreeBSD, has been released: "The PC-BSD team is pleased to announce the availability of PC-BSD 1.4. This release is made available via the efforts of many developers and testers, who have spent the past months refining and improving upon the core PC-BSD experience. PC-BSD 1.4 retail editions are now available to be purchased via our store provided by FreeBSDMall.com, or it may be freely downloaded on the 1.4 download page. This release of PC-BSD includes several notable highlights: moving the FreeBSD base version to 6-STABLE; X.Org 7.2; KDE 3.5.7; CompizFusion 0.5.2; support for Flash 7 in native BSD browsers.
